The UPCC holds three general meetings annually. All meetings are held at University Park Elementary Auditorium at Iliff & St. Paul Streets. UPCC Annual Independence Day ParadeEvery July 4th at 10 am in Observatory Park you will find all the neighborhood kids in a bike parade. All kids are welcome, and the VFW Band is on hand to make the day all the more festive. Following the Parade, Denver Fire Station 24 brings over a pumper truck to help beat the heat and hose down the crowd. The University Park Mothers Club has a booth that provides refreshments. UPCC Holiday Sing and SleighOn a Sunday in the late afternoon in early December, Observatory Park transforms into a winter wonderland. The UPCC provides horse-drawn hay rides for all residents, Chamberlin Observatory is open for night viewing of skies, there is live holiday music for all to enjoy (from Swallow Hill), and hot drinks and cookies are provided by the UPCC, the University Park Mothers Club and local residents. |
